my fabric stash: websitestory at Spoonflower

Take a peek at what I'm adding to my fabric stash! Libby, from Current Observations, designed this lovely fabric collection and it's available at her Spoonflower shop, websitestory! I'll be adding this candy striped goodness and her signature medallion fabric to my cart!

Aside from all of the beautiful and creative fabric designs, there are many things to love about Spoonflower ~ whether it's a test swatch {8"x8"}, fat quarter {21"x18"}, or yardage {42"x36"+}, you can see the actual size of the design you are ordering {click on the photo above to see the ruler and sizes}. There's nothing worse than ordering fabric online and not being able to see the accurate size of the pattern. You also have your choice of quilting weight cotton, organic cotton, organic knit, upholstery weight twill, and more. And...if you have an original design, you can upload it and print your custom fabric on demand! How fun is that? :)

sunflowers and a happy weekend!

Hello!

I've been gone way too long! I missed you all so much! I had to take a little time to get a few life things in order and I do believe it's all coming together nicely! Yay! :) And I'm so excited to catch up on my posts! I'll start back up on Monday, so until then...I leave you with these lovely sunflowers and a wish for a wonderful weekend! {My friend Heidi was in town from Ohio. I'm sad we didn't get to visit as much as I would have liked. She's such a doll! She brought these gorgeous flowers by my office today! It made for a very cheery Friday! There are roses in there, too, I couldn't get the picture right {I'll keep trying} and I couldn't wait to show you!}

{sew in love} with Jane Joss the Fabric Florist!

I haven't had an indoor plant in years. I could say it's because Blue {my cat} is a wild plant pruning machine. She'll chomp all the leaves off any plant in her path, but.. how I can't manage to keep any indoor plants alive in the first place is more like it. {luckily, I'm not completely hopeless, my outdoor plants are doing great!} :) Though it's true that Blue loves her share of greens, she's a doll and she will leave some flowers alone {which is a nice treat for me..ahh, fresh flowers and I just have to change the water}. I thought about getting real life-like silk plants, but they just don't appeal to me. If it's not real real, then I want it to look artful. Well, lo and behold! What do I see on the front page of Etsy but the answer to my indoor greenery dreams...Jane Joss the Fabric Florist

Jane Joss {Alyssa and Joslyn, an artist sister-in-law duo from Texas and married to twins!} creates beautiful handmade plants, floral stems, and wreaths inspired by their love of nature, design, crafting, and of course beautiful fabric! They also create custom orders for your very own unique floral arrangement! Aren't these lovely? Oh, yes, I want one in every room!
