Sunday, February 28, 2010 When I picked up this book, I knew I had to get one for you, too! Embroidered Effects, by Jenny Hart of Sublime Stitching, will inspire you to get that needle and thread in hand and start stitching!

Whether you are new to embroidery or a seasoned stitcher you will find this book fun and informative with many tips for expert stitching! ~ If embroidery is new for you, this book is a perfect introduction! Oh, I love embroidery! Right now I'm working on embroidering some super-secret little projects for my shop. I'd really like to try embroidering a tea towel - have a couple of flour sack tea towels lying around and would love to do something nice with them.

I'd love to embroider a special handkerchief for my sister to use on her wedding day. I'm thinking pretty flowers accompanied by lines from one of her favorite songs. :o)

I'm an avid cross stitcher. However, I started out with embroidery when I was a small child and fell in love with needlecrafts. I'd love to go old school again and do some embroidery on some of my clothes.
I picked this book up in Borders the other night and was THIS close to buying it! Wonder if my luck will hold out?
Just saw this on your Twitter, yes we are following now:) This book looks awesome, I just started a cross stitch on black Aida cloth (nighgtmare).

I would love to make some wall hangings. I love the look of little projects in hoops hanging on a wall. I have a lot of blank space in my hall that is begging for decoration.

I want to embroider little vignettes to scatter around my house. I LOVE Jenny Hart's designs! They're a perfect fit with my decor. I've been so inspired by pictures I've found of complete projects that I really, really want to try my hand at it!
And I just subscribed... I went back a few posts and I'm loving everything. :D
