Crochet Adorned ~ Book Giveaway!
Friday, March 12, 2010 If you love crochet, if you want to learn how to crochet, if you already know how to crochet...you will love this book that I picked up for you!

{Crochet Adorned by Linda Permann}
Crochet Adorned: Reinvent Your Wardrobe with Crocheted Accents, Embellishments, and Trims, by Linda Permann...is a must-have resource guide for learning crochet techniques! Once you learn how to create basic stitches {the instructions are very clear and easy to understand}, you'll be adorning not only your clothing {there are examples of jackets, skirts, shirts}, but anything you can think of! I'm thinking...{as I think you might be thinking} ...pillowcases {I'm planning a simple lace trim for me}, towels, aprons {cute one in the book}, curtains, purses, pincushions ;) ...hmmm, what else?...endless possibilities! I especially love that this book is filled with instructions on how to make those little flower motifs on the cover. And if a classic crocheted blanket is what you want...you got it! There are plenty of stitch patterns included! ~ I know you'll enjoy this book as much as I do!

The book looks absolutelly stunning! After seeing it my answer to 'What would you like to crochet?' is 'That fabulous necklace the lady is wearing.' :D
My mom is the HUGEST crocheter! I'd love to make some granny square pillows (saw a DIY over at Design Sponge a while back and actually went out and bought a hook!)
Just tweeted too! slipcoverurlife

Oh yes! You know I just taught myself how to crochet and I'm going to need another project after I finish with my granny squares - this book would be great! Hmmm, I don't have anything on my to-crochet list right now, but I'd definitely like to get these granny squares finished so that I can finally turn them into a blanket!
I'm also a follower of course!
I would love to win this book, mainly because I would love to expand my crochet knowledge, which is pretty much non-existentent!

Flowers! Lotsa flowers I would be making with my yarn stash if i would be lucky enough to win this book! Thanks for the chance!
I would love to win a copy of this book. There are so many things I would crochet - definitely the pillowcases you mentioned and trims and flowers for blankets, scarves . . .
I have been eyeing up this book for some time now...I just learned to crochet and there is a fabulous red tank top in the book with these wide crocheted straps. I'm dying to make it! I am also daydreaming about sweet crocheted trims on hand-embroidered pillow cases. Fingers crossed!
I'd have a hard time deciding what to make first, but I love the embellished shirts.
I think I'd like to try my hand at embellishing pillowcases. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity for someone to win!

Phew! Totally worth it for this amazing book. Thanks for giving us fellow craftsters an opportunity (or 4) to win it!
I saw that the book includes instructions for pillow adornments, and that sounds wonderful! I need some new Spring-y vibrant pillows for my living room couch! Thank you so much!
Color me intrigued.
I haven't crocheted since I was 9. But this looks much prettier than the wonky washcloth-turned-undulating-scarf that I made then. Perhaps it would be right in style. I am interested in using more fiber in my jewelry and have some lovely recycled sari ribbons. This would be fun to do! Thanks for sharing your inspiration. Enjoy the day! Erin
Sounds like an excellent book! I'm just getting back into crochet.
I love to crochet lots of different things and love to edge knit items with crochet. Thank you for the giveaway :)

I learned to crochet many years ago and see it is very popular again. I'd love to get some inspiration to make some new lovely things.
I would love to learn to make those cute flowers on the cover of the book!
I think my girlfriend is craaazyy for crocheting. And whatever makes her happy, works for me. :) Then she'll use up the yarn she's been hoarding in the studio.

Done.
Hi! I love to crochet... I always used to watch my Aunt do it when I was little, and always wished that I could do it too. My first trip into working with yarn (other than chaining) was knitting which I learned from my 80something year old neighbor. Fast forward 20 years and youtube tutorials, I am full blown addicted to crochet!! Thank you for the opportunity to win this!!
Best wishes, Heidi
